Katholiko Monastery
The road to the monastery is not easy, it is not dangerous, but it is long, a small descent there and back, respectively, a small ascent, in the heat will be difficult. You need comfortable shoes, water, hats.
With us was a six-year-old daughter, she is used to such walks, sporty, but on the way back (after passing the gorge to the sea below the monastery) whimpered. Think whether your children are ready for such hikes.
Below the bridge there is a steep descent into the gorge, its passage did not cause difficulties, but be careful when descending. There are 2 descents, each with a different coloured arrow. The more difficult way is indicated, I think, by a red arrow. The way to the sea is about 40 min.
Be sure to visit this place! It is both soulful, spiritual and beautiful.
