Jewelcrafting

The latest profession available in The Burning Crusade is called jewelcrafting. If you plan to take it further and advance your skills you'll need to align it with mining as jewelcrafting requires a lot of stone and ore. If you're planning to move the character of a higher level to jewelcrafting, you'll need to spend a lot of time looking in low-level zones for tin and copper that you can make yourself more skilled or purchase it from Auction House.

At a lower level the jewelcrafting profession is mostly focused on the creation of necklaces and rings, which only a few other professions can make. They can be made and used by you or sold to your colleagues or sold at an auction house.
