The SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria (TSC) are a set of principles established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to evaluate and report on the controls at a service organization relevant to information security. These criteria are used in SOC 2 audits to assess the effectiveness of controls in protecting and managing data. The five main TSC principles are Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.
