SSG Landers signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Fighters Sports & Entertainment (FSE), the marketing subsidiary of the Nippon Ham Fighters, at 1:00 p.m. on April 22 at Escon Field Hokkaido (hereinafter referred to as Escon Field).
In March, FSE visited SSG's club office and proposed that SSG become the Korean business partner for the Japan-Korea Dream Players Game (Japan-Korea OB Legends Match), and from there, the two organizations decided to expand business exchanges across various fields, including stadium construction, club business, and sports marketing.
In particular, SSG expects to contribute to the completion of the Cheongna Dome Stadium by actively benchmarking FSE's rich experience and knowledge in creating stadiums and complex cultural spaces.
FSE has the know-how to organically develop business utilizing dome stadiums, having successfully completed Japan's first retractable natural grass dome stadium, Escon Field, within F Village, which combines various entertainment elements such as hotels, shopping malls, food and beverage facilities, and generated 25.1 billion yen in revenue in its first year of operation, an increase of 9.3 billion yen (approximately 59%) from the 15.8 billion yen in revenue generated in 2019 when 메이저사이트 the existing Sapporo Dome was used.
As part of the business agreement, the two clubs will also activate mutual talent exchange, as well as exchanges in the fields of marketing and fan entertainment, and will create new experiences for fans in both countries through various joint marketing activities.
