How is TAVI surgery performed?
- You will be under anesthesia so that you do not feel any pain during the surgery.
- 2 to 3 incisions are made on the operating site.
- A wire will be inserted from the femoral artery through the incision at the groin area. The wire is passed into the stenotic aortic valve.
