3D printers have been evolving not only the technology applicable but also the sizes. In the early days of the printers, they were industrial-sized 3D printers, which were quite heavy and oversized. But now, a few 3D printer manufacturers have improved and made the making machine that is relatively more advanced than the previous one; note that the exciting part is the improved printers can fit your desk, hence the name 3d printer models.
Therefore, How Can You Set Up Your 3D Printer Once You’ve Bought It? Here Is the Procedure;
- First, attach the feet to the Base plate.
- Make sure the sliders are aligned but be careful not to press the steel strip.
- Attach the Y axes to the platform.
- Attach the Y axes to the base plate.
- Tighten the screw on the Y-axis sliders, but if the screws on the sliders are not aligned with the screw holes on the base plate, move the platform to the proper position.
- Attach the Z-axis holders to the base plate.
- Attach the touchscreen holder to the base plate.
- Thread the connecting cables through the holes of the holders, and then attach the Z axes to the Z axes holders.
- Install the screws to the bottom of the Z axes.
- From the middle, move the platform to the position, then move the Z-axis sliders to the farthest end.
- Attach the X axis to the sliders on the Z axes.
- Tighten the screws to attach the Z-axes to the Z-axis holders.
- Tighten the screws to the bottom of the Z axes.
- Put your hands at each end of the linear module, and then move the X-axis to the top.
- Locate the Y conversion cable and the attached cable on both Y axes, then connect them to the converter.
- Attach the Y-axis converter to the Base plate.
- Locate the Z conversion cable and the attached cable on both Z axes, then connect them to the converter.
- Attach the Z-axis converter to the Base plate.
- Attach the controller to the Z axis.
- Open the dust plugs and connect the X, Y, and Z axes with the controller.
- Place the touchscreen, and then connect the touchscreen to the controller.
- Connect the cables for the power module. But note that, by no point should you connect to disconnect any cable when the machine is powered on.
