The Department of Applied Science & Humanities at VGI organized a spectacular singing competition that brought together the energies of students from multiple programs. Under the guidance of Mr. Sunil Jindal- Chairperson, Dr. Poornima Sharma- COO, Dr. S.P. Pandey- Advisor, and department heads, this event not only celebrated music but also fostered artistic expression in the VGI community.
The competition saw talented participants showcase their vocal skills in front of an enthusiastic audience that included students, faculty, and external judges. The panel of esteemed judges included Dr. Seema Jain (Pharmacy), Dr. Ila Mishra (Applied Science), Ms. Pooja Sagar (MBA), Ms. Parisha (BBA), and Mr. Raj Teotia (Admin). They evaluated performances based on several criteria, including pitch accuracy, rhythm, tempo, stage presence, diction, etc.
After a night filled with breathtaking performances, the winners were announced:
Sujal Rawal (MBA) – 1st
Sreyashi (B.Pharm) – 2nd
Kunal (BCA) – 3rd
Ayan, Tufan Chaudhary, Amit Garg – Consolation prizes, Rishav Gupta (AI-ML) – Special mention. This competition was a resounding success, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating more such events that showcase the immense talent at VGI.
