The IIC of VGI on 23rd December organized an Innovation Showcase platform on National Farmers day, honoring the invaluable contributions of farmers & birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh, India’s fifth Prime Minister & recipient of the Highest Civilian Award Bharat Ratna. His landmark initiatives, such as the Farmers' Debt Relief Bill and the Land Reforms Act, paved the way for agricultural reforms and equitable land distribution.

The event featured distinguished guests including Dr. Vipin Kumar Sharma (Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, G.B. Nagar), Dr. Sunil Kr. Prajapati (Scientist, Horticulture, K.V.K.), and Dr. Bonika Pant (Scientist, Fisheries, K.V.K.). They highlighted the challenges farmers face, from climate change to financial strain. Dr. Bonika Pant discussed the role of innovation and startups.
