Lead developer Shytoshi Kusama announced the debut of the Shibarium mainnet at the Blockchain Futurist Conference and the ETH hackathons in Canada the following week. Shibarium validators going live on the mainnet and the Shibarium testnet "PuppyNet" falling offline for over three days all point to a launch next week.
When Will Shibarium Launch
The "PuppyNet" test network for Shibarium hasn't processed a block in the last three days. The blockchain explorer Puppyscan claims that the most recent transaction took place on August 5. It's interesting to note that the Shibarium testnet was shut down after 35 million transactions and 17 million wallet addresses.
As validators are going live on the mainnet, several members of the community believe that the Shibarium mainnet release is only around the corner. It doesn't necessarily mean that the Shibarium mainnet preparations are finished, but it does suggest that a launch could happen the following week.

In a previous blog post, the project's lead developer Shytoshi Kusama also affirmed that the Shibarium mainnet would launch during the Blockchain Futurist Conference. He stated:
“We are much too busy working on finishing and launching Shibarium, working on our upcoming Keynote, and finalizing the Summer of Shibarium Party at the Blockchain Futurist Conference!”
