After finishing last in this year's KBO League, the Kiwoom Heroes have finalized their coaching staffs for the 2024 season for both the First Team and Future Team.

The first team will be led by head coach Hong Won-ki, with Kim Chang-hyun, bullpen coach Ma Jung-gil, battery coach Park Do-hyun, hitting coach Oh Yoon, and defense coach Kwon Do-young remaining unchanged.

The vacant positions will be filled by coaches who were in charge of the Future Team until last year. Lee Seung-ho, pitching coach, Moon Chan-jong, first base and outfield coach, and Park Jung-eum, operations and baserunning coach, will join the first team as new coaches.

The Future Team will be led by head coach Seol Jong-jin, pitching coach Song Shin-young, battery coach Kim Dong-woo, hitting coach Kim Tae-wan, and infield coach Chae Jong-kook. Park Joon-tae, who announced his retirement after the 2023 season, will begin his coaching career as the outfield and first base coach for the Future Team.

Rehabilitation and residuals will be handled by pitching coach Noh Byung-oh and fielding coach Kang Byung-sik.

Meanwhile, Kiwoom decided not to re-sign Park Jae-sang, who served as the first team coach until this season, as well as Kim Ji-soo, the first base and outfield defense coach. 19가이드03
