Rising star Son Heung-min scores for second straight game to lead Tottenham to win at Crystal Palace on Nov. 28

South Korea's Son Heung-min performs his signature flick gesture after scoring his team's fourth goal during the second half of the international soccer match between South Korea and Vietnam at Suwon World Cup Stadium in Suwon, Paldal-gu, Suwon, South Korea, on Oct. 17.

Son Heung-min (Tottenham), who has been unleashing his attacking instincts after being transformed into a frontline striker, will be looking to score for the second consecutive game.

Tottenham host Crystal Palace on Oct. 28 at 4 a.m. (ET) in the 10th round of the 2023-24 English Premier League (EPL).

Son has been sharp on his toes lately. The South Korean, who has taken on captaincy duties this season, has scored seven goals and provided one assist to lead the team to a nine-match unbeaten run (W2 D2 L23).

Tottenham, who were worried that they would be weakened after the departure of Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), have been able to capitalize on Son's prolific goals to lead the EPL. He is second in goals behind Manchester City striker Elling Holland (9).

Recently, there have been some concerns about the aftermath of his leg injury, but he has proven to be in top form since returning to action in October after being sidelined for the A-League.

Son was the man of the match in the 2-0 home win over Fulham on Nov. 24, scoring the winning goal and assisting on another.

Crystal Palace, the team Son Heung-min faces, is coming off a shaky defensive performance against Newcastle on the 21st, including a 0-4 loss. Crystal Palace currently sits in 11th place with three wins, three draws, and three losses (12 points).

On a positive note, Son Heung-min has been strong every time he has faced Crystal Palace. He has scored an attacking point against Crystal Palace in every season since 2017-18.

In the 2022-23 season match on January 5 this year, he scored a wedge goal in a 4-0 win. He also scored a late goal in a 3-0 win on December 27, 2021.

Son has scored seven goals in his career against Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace has scored the fourth most goals against Southampton (12), Leicester City (10), and West Ham (8).

Tottenham head coach Enze Postecoglou has a lot of confidence in the team.

"He's scoring (a lot) and he's the catalyst for our attack," said Postecoglou. "And defensively, he's a big part of our style, pressing forward. He's done a great job (so far)," he added, giving him a thumbs-up. 토토사이트
