Introduction

  • As the number of projects grows, more and more land will be required to develop them. For example, in Islamabad Metro Rail Project alone, 100 million square feet of land is already purchased.

Also, in future Pakistan's capital city may become a megacity with millions of people residing there. Therefore, it is necessary to construct a new capital city for Islamabad so that its surrounding areas are developed properly.

  • The Government has decided to construct a new capital city for the Muslim World in India-occupied Kashmir (IoK) region called 'Azad Jammu and Kashmir'.
  • According to experts – the construction of this new capital city would cost at least Rs 1 trillion rupees which is equivalent to 70 billion dollars or about 300 billion rupees ($4 billion). And this amount does not include huge investments needed for infrastructure development which will further increase the costs.
  • Despite all these challenges that are facing future planning in Pakistan – it seems very difficult to generate enough funds for Islamabad's development as well as other cities' development plans unless there is some magical political solution that helps solve all these financial problems once and for all; otherwise they will create huge financial burden on taxpayers over time due to high expenditure on infrastructure development at present which we can't afford currently since our country is already struggling with low revenue generation and debt crisis in some sectors such as energy, health etc.- therefore government must devise a plan that helps overcome these issues so that they can start working on funding sources from different sources such as providing tax exemptions/rebates/incentives/incentive packages etc . Also known as Tax Incentives; so that investors can invest their money without any fear about paying taxes because after giving incentives tax will be paid by them later but now taxes are not paid by them yet due benefits were given earlier i.e.. Before investment was given , then

Lahore smart city location map will soon have more than 60 smart cities across all cities of the country. Each city will be allotted an area roughly equivalent to a standard city block, which means that each smart city would have about 1,500 acres (6 square km) of land and could accommodate up to one million people.

Lahore's first smart city will be located in Jati Umra, which is currently home to over 2 million people and serves as the administrative headquarters for Punjab province. The proposed site for this new development includes three existing residential communities: Jati Umra Colony; Sheikh Zayed Colony; and Bhutta Complex.

Each city will be allotted an area roughly equivalent to a standard city block.

Each city will be allotted an area roughly equivalent to a standard city block. It is expected that each city will have a population of about 50,000 and be divided into small blocks. These blocks may range from one square kilometer (0.4 sq mi) to about 100 sq km (38 sq mi). The smallest plots in these smart cities can be bought at initially low prices because they are not large enough for apartment buildings or commercial uses like offices or hotels; however, once built out, they're expected to become quite valuable due to proximity to other developments and amenities such as schools and hospitals.

In order for buyers interested in buying property within Lahore Smart City's first phase (which includes Wapda Town), you must have met all requirements including having lived outside Pakistan for at least three years before applying for residency papers through your company or organization’s HR department. You also need proof that you own at least 0KW electricity connection back home which means if someone wants access their electricity supply then they should pay them directly instead of using someone else's account as part-payment method."

When fully launched, the project is expected to create more than 100,000 jobs and generate more than 5 billion revenue for the economy.

A plot in the city project called 'comfort zone', which has an area of about 600 square yards, is expected to cost about Rs 12 million at present.

A plot in Lahore's first smart city project, which has been named 'City of Light', will cost around Rs 16 million per square yard. This price is higher than that of a similar plot in Islamabad City Centre or Rawalpindi as both these cities also have a larger population base compared with Lahore and Rawalpindi respectively. In total there are approximately 135 plots available for sale under this scheme across all three cities but only 50% have been sold so far due to high demand from investors who are looking forward to buying their dream homes soon after completion
